With first classes scheduled to start in September, City College is holding an event to discuss new higher education alternatives along with main stakeholders in Qatar.

The event “Let’s talk About Education” will have special guests like the British Embassy in Qatar and the Emma Schlesinger, Global Director of Middle East at University of Portsmouth in the UK.

“We are delighted to welcome to Doha Mrs. Schlesinger, from University of Portsmouth to present more details about the partnership with City College and how our studentswill have preferential entry at the final year of a bachelor’s degree in the UK”, explains David Meaton, Principal of City College.

From 4 to 8pm, the event will be open to parents and students who will be able to meet the academic staff and have careers advice sessions with experienced academics.

“Everybody who is interested in higher education is invited! We are having an Open Admissions afternoon and special discounts to attendees”, says Mr. Meaton.

City College is a new higher institution in Qatar that offers General Business programmes and specialist Business Courses in Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Management and Operations and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
