Qatar is a very small, just over 15000 square kilometres in area, however, it is rich beyond measure. Qatar is a peninsular country bordering the Persian Gulf and Saudi Arabia with a long coastline along the Persian Gulf. An overwhelming majority of the people in Qatar are foreigners, making only 20 percent of the population Qatari. The country is presently governed by the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, the fourth son of the Father-Emir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa.
Qatar maybe small in size but the country represents a unique fusion of beautiful traditions and cultures from around the world. There are many beautiful spots in Qatar that photographers and visitors equally adore. Today we bring you a list of breath-taking and picturesque places of Qatar, here it is:

3 Barzan Towers:
The Barzan Towers are an architectural marvel of the yesteryears, the Towers stand at 16 meters tall and are thought to be constructed sometime during the 19th century, however, it is known with certainty that the Towers were renovated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani in the year 1910. The Towers derive their name from the Arabic word ‘Barzan’ which means high-place. The towers were restored by the Qatari authorities in the year 2003, the place has ever since became known for its architecture and it is open 24 hours a day. Watching the sunset atop these towers is a real sight to behold, the sight is so appealing that even non-photographers end up taking beautiful photos of the sunset from these towers.
