Source Text: The text for which translation is required.
Target Text: The translated version of the Source Text.
Source Language: The language of Source Text.
Target Language: The language to which the Source Text is translated.
Strategy: Decisions taken by the translator, to approach a task of translation after reading the Source Text but before initiating the translation.
Strategic Decisions: The detailed reasoned decisions taken by the translator before starting a translation in detailed, often in response to various questions related to the source text, target audience and the purpose of translation.
Decisions related to Language: These decisions are taken by the translator with relation to the grammar, vocabulary and other language related topics, which the translator encounters during translation and at times before initiating a translation as well. This can also lead the translator into making some changes in the strategic decisions taken before initiating the translation.
