Doha: Weather inshore until 6 p.m. on Thursday will be relatively hot daytime with slight dust and scattered clouds with chance of rain at places by afternoon, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.

Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain and may be thundery to the north at times, report added, warning of expected thunder rain to the north, strong wind with high sea by noon.

Wind inshore will be variable at first less than 06 knot, becoming northeasterly to northwesterly 06 knot to 16 knot, reaching to 20 knot at places by midday.

Offshore, it will be northeasterly 07 to 17 knot, gusting to 28 knot with the thunder rain, becoming northwesterly 08 to 18 knot, gusting to 24 knot to the north by noon.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 5 feet, rises to 8 feet at times.

The maximum temperature in Doha is expected to be around 36 degree celsius.
